Albert Hanser founded Kestrel Merchant Partners in 2019. He has 25 years of experience in emerging growth and special situations equity spanning London, New York, San Francisco and Boston. Prior to launching Kestrel, Albert was Managing Director of investment banking at Craig-Hallum Capital Group for seven years. Previously, he was Managing Director of institutional sales at ThinkEquity Partners where he opened and ran the Boston office for nine years. Prior to Think, Albert worked in London and Manhattan with Alex. Brown & Sons through the Deutsche Bank acquisition. He began his career on the trading floor of Piper Jaffray and in the open outcry pits of the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE). Albert received his B.A. from Brown University and lives in Boston with his wife and three children.
