Sam Waicberg joined Caydan Capital Partners in 2023 and is the Managing Partner for Caydan Ventures, the firm’s early-stage venture arm based in Dallas, Texas. Sam has extensive leadership, strategic growth, and operational experience and serves as both a board member and as an executive resource for Caydan’s portfolio companies.

Most recently, Sam was the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CareAR, a SaaS augmented reality and AI platform company for the service management market, which was acquired by Xerox. Sam continued at Xerox, serving as President and General Manager of Xerox’s software business unit, which he grew to an estimated valuation of $700M.  Before founding CareAR, Sam was Chief Marketing Officer of Genband, an $800M communication solutions provider, where he successfully reinvented and repositioned the company’s brand strategy and solutions portfolio.  Prior to his role at Genband, Sam was CEO of Iperia, a unified mobile messaging application platform, where he turned around and pivoted the business leading up to the acquisition to Genband. Sam also has held senior management positions at Blackberry, Aspect Communications, Vidyo, and Oracle.
